For Paywall courses, students check out through Stripe Checkout or PayPal — whichever payment provider you have connected to that course. Here's what they see.
- They land on your course page and see a preview (description, modules, any free / preview lessons).
- They click
EnrollorBuy course. - Stripe Checkout or PayPal opens in their browser — hosted by the provider, with your branding.
- They enter their payment details and confirm.
- The provider sends them back to your course page, now with full access.
Receipts
Stripe and PayPal automatically send each student a receipt by email. You can customize the Stripe receipt template inside your Stripe dashboard; PayPal receipts come from your PayPal Business account.
Failed payments
If a payment fails (declined card, etc.), the student stays on your course page without access. They can try again with a different card or with the other provider if both are offered.
