Before you can publish any course (Public, Private, or Paywall), you need a payment method on your learnfrom account. This is how learnfrom charges you the per-student fee.
How to add one
- Open
Account→Payments. - Click
Add payment method. - Enter your card details in the Stripe-hosted form.
- Save. Your card is securely stored with Stripe, not on learnfrom's servers.
Why it's required up front
Per-student fees are billed monthly. Requiring a payment method before publishing means there are no surprises later — and no risk of accounts falling behind on payment while still serving students.
Note:If you only run free Public or Private courses with no students, you may never see a charge — but the payment method still has to be on file before you can publish.
