Quiz lessons

Quiz lessons let you test what students have learned. Each quiz has one or more questions, and each question can use one of three formats.

Question types

• Multiple choice — single answer: students pick exactly one option.
• Multiple choice — multiple answers: students pick one or more options.
• True or false: students pick true or false.

Building a quiz

1. Switch the lesson type to Quiz.
2. Click Add Question.
3. Type the question text.
4. Pick the question type.
5. Add up to 8 options. Mark the correct one(s).
6. Optionally add an explanation that students see after they answer.

What students see

Students answer one question at a time. After submitting, they see whether each answer was correct and, if you added one, your explanation. They can retake the quiz to study.
