After adding the DNS records, return to Account → Custom domain and click Verify Domain.
The three states
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pending Verification | Records aren't visible yet. Wait a few minutes and try again. |
| Active | Records are correct. Your domain is live. |
| Invalid Configuration | Something is wrong with your DNS — usually the wrong value or the wrong record type. |
What happens once Active
Your profile and courses are served on your domain immediately. SSL is provisioned automatically; no extra steps needed.
Tip:If verification stays pending for more than a couple of hours, double-check the records using a tool like
dig or dnschecker.org to confirm the records are visible to the public.
