Prepaid credits — Help Center

learnfrom bills with prepaid credits. You add credits to your account up front, and each new student uses credits at your current per-student rate. There's no subscription and no monthly invoice.

Buy credits

Open Account → Billing and click Add credits.
Pick enough for 10, 50 or 250 students, or choose Other for any amount from $10 to $5,000.
Pay in the secure Stripe form. No VAT is added.

Every purchase gets an invoice, which you can download as a PDF under Purchases and invoices. Only the account owner can buy credits; team members can see the balance and history.

Your balance and history

Account → Billing shows your balance, about how many more students it covers, and every change: purchases, students, refunds and adjustments. Filter the history or download it as a CSV file.

Credits don't expire

Unused credits stay on your account. If you stop using learnfrom, you can ask us to refund your remaining balance, minus payment fees.

Publishing

To publish a course you need credits for at least one student, or auto-reload turned on. Courses that are already published stay published when your balance runs low.

When your credits run out

We email you and show a banner when your balance covers fewer than 5 students. The easiest way to never run out is auto-reload.

If your balance does reach zero, new students can still enroll on creditfor 7 days. Your balance goes below zero, up to 10 students' worth. We email you when this starts and again two days before it ends.

Heads up:If your balance is still below zero after those 7 days, new students can't enroll, and students who enrolled on credit can't open their course until you add credits. Students who paid you for a course always keep their access. Adding credits restores everything right away.

Refunds

When you refund a student, their per-student fee goes back to your credit balance. See Refunds.
